Our standout A0 Foamex Signs are the perfect signage solution for a range of use cases, including event signage, wayfinding signs and general advertising. Manufactured from Excel GrafiX Extra White PVC foam board, our Foamex boards are primed for indoor or outdoor use. Every board is printed in full colour and can be finished in a variety of thicknesses, laminations, and finishing options to match your bespoke needs and application.
A0 size: Manufactured to the standard A0 size (841 x 1189mm). If you need custom sizing, visit our custom printed Foamex Board Printing page.
Thickness Options: Choose from several thickness options including 3mm, 5mm or 10mm. The thicker the board, the longer it lasts and the more durable it is.
Single or double-sided printing: Print one side for wall-mounted and window use, or both sides if the board will be seen from either direction.
Full colour digital printing: Printed in-house on our HP Latex R2000, a state-of-the-art printer that ensures crystal-clear prints that won’t easily fade over time.
Optional lamination: Matt or gloss laminate is available and recommended if the board will be used outdoors.
Optional finishing options: Finish your foamex signs with drilled holes or rounded corners, completely free of charge.
B-s3, d0 fire classification to EN 13501-1: Independently tested by Exova Warringtonfire (report WF 360290).
Welcome signs: Perfect for display near site entrances and reception areas.
Wayfinding signs: Commonly used for wayfinding purposes at hospitals, construction sites and corporate events.
Construction signage: Used heavily for safety messaging, branding and wayfinding.
Event signage: Used heavily at trade shows, exhibitions and conferences.
Point of sale displays: Used to advertise new promotions or products in retail environments.

A0 measures 841 x 1189mm. If you need a different size, we offer custom sizes or a variety of standard A sizes.
Not fully waterproof, but our Excel GrafiX Extra White PVC foam board has low water absorption (0.10%) and suits short- to medium-term outdoor use when finished with a laminate. For longer-term outdoor signage, we recommend opting for our Aluminium Composite Signs.
3mm is lighter and easier to handle. It’s best for indoor use. 5mm provides a good balance of weight and rigidity. 10mm is the most rigid choice, useful where the board needs to hold its shape without extra support behind it.. If you’re not sure which thickness suits your job, get in touch, and we’ll help you pick the right one.
Foamex is a good fit for medium-term outdoor use, particularly when laminated. If your sign needs to stay long-term outdoors, or take more battering, aluminium composite (Dibond) is the more heavy-duty option.
As a general guide, expect up to around 10 years indoors and 3 to 5 years outdoors when laminated. Actual lifespan depends on the setting and how much exposure the board gets.
Our Excel GrafiX Extra White PVC foam board has achieved a B-s3, d0 classification to EN 13501-1, independently tested by Exova Warringtonfire.
