Aerospace labels have a job to do long after they are applied. They need to stay readable, stay in place, and support traceability, safety, and product identification in demanding working environments.

BEE 4 is a reliable UK label manufacturer with over 25 years of experience serving the aerospace industry. With in-house digital print production and a broad range of materials, adhesives, laminates, and finishes, we can build label solutions tailored to the exact demands of the application.

We supply aerospace, aviation, defence, engineering, and manufacturing firms with labelling solutions built around the application, whether that means resistance to heat, abrasion, oils, chemicals, UV exposure, or repeated handling.

From serial and barcode labels to warning labels, metal name plates, and replacement labels matched to older samples, we produce everything in-house, ensuring the best possible prices and turnaround times.

Built Around Your Application

When it comes to aerospace labelling solutions, a generic approach won’t cut it. A label used on a panel, tool, housing, cable, enclosure, or external component will require a very different material, adhesive, finish, and print method.

BEE 4 does not treat aerospace identification labels like generic labels. We match the build to the job, whether that means polyester labels for long-term identification, polycarbonate labels or laminated builds for added surface protection.

We also help buyers replace legacy or obsolete labels by working from existing samples, drawings, photos, or reference details to recreate the product as closely as possible.

When advising you on the best material specifications for your specific job, we consider:

The surface the label is bonding to

Indoor, outdoor, or mixed exposure

Resistance to heat, UV, oil, chemicals, solvents, or abrasion

Permanent, removable, high tack, or tamper-evident adhesive

Fine text, warnings, safety information, or technical data

Matching an older part or existing drawing

Thanks to our extensive industry experience and in-depth understanding of print media, we can provide each of our clients with a tailored solution that aligns with their bespoke application requirements.

Compliance Support for Aerospace & Defence Labelling

Aerospace and defence buyers often work to strict internal specifications, customer drawings, traceability rules, and material requirements. In many supply chains, quality systems such as 9100 / AS9100 are used across aviation, space, and defence organisations and their supply chains.

BEE 4 is not ISO 9001 certified; however, we can manufacture to customer-specified ISO 9001-related quality, documentation, and traceability requirements, provided these are defined and agreed upon at the order stage.

If your project calls for a specific material build, adhesive type, print detail, data format, traceability layout, or end-use requirement, we can work to your drawing, sample, artwork, or purchasing brief.

Where electrical or electronic equipment is involved, buyers may also need to consider RoHS and UK REACH, depending on the product and supply chain. RoHS controls hazardous substances in regulated electrical and electronic equipment in Great Britain, while UK REACH regulates chemical substances. We can manufacture in line with these requirements, ensuring you’re compliant.
