Introducing our A1 Foamex Signs, the perfect signage solution for indoor and outdoor use. Commonly used at construction sites, corporate events, and retail environments, our Foamex signs can be customised to meet your bespoke requirements. We manufacture every board in-house using our state-of-the-art HP Latex R2000 for unrivalled digital printing results.
A1 size (594 x 841mm): These boards are produced to the official ISO A1 size, so they’ll fit standard A1 frames, stands and display systems.
Range of Thickness Options: Select from 3mm, 5mm or 10mm board thicknesses. 3mm/5mm are perfect for indoor use, while we recommend our durable 10mm option for outdoor applications.
Single or double-sided printing: Print one side for wall-mounted and window use, or both sides if the board will be seen from either direction.
Stunning Print Quality: Manufactured using top-of-the-range printing technology, your sign will boast a sharp, vibrant and long-lasting finish. Water-based inks provide an environmentally sustainable printing option.
Optional lamination: We offer matt or gloss laminated finishes to enhance longevity and durability, especially in outdoor environments.
Optional finishes: Finish your sign with optional drilled holes or rounded corners completely free of charge.
As mentioned in the feature breakdown, our A1 Foamex boards are available in 3mm, 5mm or 10mm thicknesses. The thinner 3mm option is super lightweight and ideal for indoor signage requirements. Our 5mm option offers a good balance of weight and durability, making it ideal for long-term indoor use. Finally, our 10mm option is the most rigid choice, useful where the board needs to hold its shape without extra support behind it, or where it’s likely to be handled more. We recommend the 10mm option if you plan to use the board outdoors.

They’re printed on Excel GrafiX Extra White PVC foam board, available in 3mm, 5mm or 10mm thickness.
Every board is cut to the full ISO A1 size, 594 x 841mm. We also offer a wide range of other standard A-size sizes and custom sizing options for Foamex signs on our website.
Absolutely. We offer single- or double-sided printing.
Yes. If you’re using these signs outdoors, we recommend our 10mm option with a laminate finish. finish. We also offer aluminium composite (Dibond) signs which are specifically manufactured for outdoor use cases.
As a general guide, expect up to around 10 years indoors and 3 to 5 years outdoors when laminated.
You can fix A1 Foamex boards with screws, adhesive pads, or other suitable sign fixings, depending on your surface. Choose the drilled mounting holes option if you know screws will be used.
To help us achieve the best printing results possible, please supply vector files (AI, EPS, or PDF), though high-resolution JPEGs are also accepted. Also, if you can, set your file up in CMYK with a 3mm bleed and at least 300dpi, with fonts outlined or embedded. Don’t worry, we check every file and send a free proof before production, so we won’t print unless the artwork is fully ready to print.
Production takes 5 to 7 working days, with next-day delivery to UK mainland addresses once it’s complete.
