To achieve the best print finish on your brushed aluminium stickers, please supply your artwork in a print-ready format wherever possible. This helps us produce clean detail, accurate cutting and a professional metallic finish.
We recommend supplying artwork in one of the following formats:
Vector files are preferred, especially for logos, text, fine lines, shaped stickers and contour-cut designs.
Please supply artwork in CMYK colour mode where possible. RGB files can be accepted, but colours may shift slightly when converted for print.
As this material has a brushed metallic silver base, printed colours may appear slightly different compared with printing onto white vinyl. Lighter colours can take on more of the metallic effect, while darker colours usually appear stronger and more solid.
If your design requires certain areas to appear solid or closer to their true colour, a white ink layer may be needed beneath the printed colours. This is especially useful for logos, small text, barcodes, QR codes or colours that need to stand out clearly against the brushed silver background.
If you want parts of the brushed aluminium effect to show through, please make this clear when submitting your artwork.
For best results, please include:
Important text, barcodes, QR codes and fine details should not sit too close to the edge of the sticker.
Please outline or embed all fonts before sending your artwork. This prevents font changes when the file is opened for print.
For small text, we recommend using clear, simple fonts. Very fine text may be harder to read on metallic materials, especially if printed in light colours.
If you require a custom shape, please provide a clear cut path as a vector line. This should be supplied as a separate layer or clearly marked in the artwork file.
Brushed metallic films can be tougher to cut than standard vinyl, so simple shapes and clean cut paths will usually produce the best finish.
Any images used in your artwork should be high resolution. We recommend 300dpi at actual print size to avoid pixelation or blurry print.
Low-resolution screenshots, copied web images or small JPEG files may not print sharply.
Barcodes and QR codes should be supplied as high-resolution or vector artwork. We recommend printing them in a strong, dark colour with enough contrast against the brushed silver background.
For best scanning results, avoid placing QR codes or barcodes over busy backgrounds or low-contrast metallic effects.
All artwork will be checked before production. If we spot any obvious issues, we will contact you before printing. A digital proof can be supplied for approval so you can check the layout, size, shape and print position before your order goes into production.
