We partner with DX for all our shipping requirements. Orders are fulfilled and dispatched Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. DX delivers between 08:00 am and 18:00 pm.
If your parcel has been damaged in transit, please sign for the order as damaged and take photos upon delivery. We will then assist you in resolving the issue.
A sale banner needs to be clear, bold and easy to read at a glance. Most people will only see the banner for a few seconds as they walk or drive past, so the design should focus on one main message rather than trying to include too much information. Here are some tips to ensure your artwork is set up for the best print result:
The most important wording should be the biggest part of the design. If your banner is being used outside a shop, on railings or at the front of a retail unit, customers need to understand the offer from a distance. Avoid small text unless it is only being used for supporting information.
Sale banners work best when the text stands out clearly from the background. High-contrast colours are usually easier to read, especially for outdoor banners or shop-front displays. If you are using brand colours, make sure the wording is still clear and easy to see.
If your banner is being finished with hems and eyelets, avoid placing important text, logos or images too close to the edge. We recommend leaving a safe margin around the artwork so key details do not sit too close to the fixings, folds or stitched areas.
For best results, images should be high resolution and suitable for large-format printing. As a general guide, artwork should be supplied at around 150dpi at full print size. Low-resolution logos, screenshots, or small web images may appear pixelated when printed at banner size.
Artwork should ideally be supplied in CMYK colour mode rather than RGB. CMYK is used for print production and gives a better indication of how colours will reproduce on the finished banner. Please note that colours can vary slightly between screen and print, especially on bright reds, oranges, blues and greens.
To avoid font issues, please outline all text or make sure fonts are embedded in the file. This helps prevent unwanted font changes when the artwork is opened for production.
If your sale banner includes a logo, a vector file is best. Files such as AI, EPS or vector PDF usually print much sharper than JPEG or PNG logos, especially on larger banners. If you only have a flat image file, please send the highest-resolution version available.
Depending on the banner size and finish, bleed may be needed to allow for trimming and finishing. If your design has a background colour or image that runs to the edge, make sure it extends beyond the finished size so there are no unwanted white edges after trimming.
