Applying self-cling window stickers is a quick and simple process. They cling to smooth glass with static, so they can be removed, repositioned, and reused without leaving sticky residue behind or any hassle.
For the best results, follow the application guide below:
Before applying your self-cling window sticker, clean the glass thoroughly using a mild glass cleaner or warm soapy water. Remove any dust, grease, fingerprints or residue, as dirt trapped behind the sticker can affect how well it clings to the surface.
For easier positioning, lightly mist the glass with clean water. This allows the self-cling sticker to slide slightly into place before it grips the surface. Do not soak the window. One small spray is enough
Place the self-cling window sticker onto the glass, starting from one edge or corner. Gently press it into position using your hand. For larger static cling window stickers, it may help to have two people apply the graphic to keep it straight and avoid creases.
Use a squeegee, a soft cloth, or a flat plastic card to smooth the sticker from the centre outwards. This helps remove trapped air and water, giving the sticker a clean, flat finish against the glass. Take your time around the edges to make sure the full sticker is properly in contact with the window.
Once applied, leave the sticker to settle and dry naturally. Avoid moving, cleaning or touching the graphic for between 24-36 hours. Once dry, your self-cling window sticker should stay securely in place yet be easy to remove when needed.
To remove the sticker, gently peel it away from the glass from one corner. Because self-cling stickers do not use adhesive, they should remove cleanly without leaving residue.
If you want to reuse the sticker, store it flat on its original backing sheet or another clean, smooth surface. Keep it away from dust, dirt and moisture so it is ready for future use.
